When a building collapses, the first minutes matter most — and they are far too dangerous to walk into. The RoboCup Rescue league recreates that scenario: arenas full of rubble, stairs, unstable terrain and simulated victims the robot must find, map and report without human intervention.
Our rescue division fields two robots, Jaguar and Dicerox — each a full tracked platform with flippers and a 6-degree-of-freedom arm, built by its own team. Mechanics, electronics and software, all designed and manufactured by students.
(Placeholder copy — the rescue teams should review and complete this description, including how Jaguar and Dicerox differ.)
