OVERVIEW
Making a robot walk is hard enough. Making it walk, find a ball, plan a play and kick — while another robot tries to take it away — is RoboCup’s Humanoid KidSize league: fully autonomous soccer between bipedal robots.
The humanoid division fights gravity on every iteration: joint design, gait control, computer vision and game strategy. It is the division where hardware and AI meet head-on.
